Seymour von Seine is a very handsome 4-5 year old German Shepherd. With his unique curly-wurly ears, this gorgeous hunk is impossible to forget once you meet him. Seymour is a big boy who walks great on leash and loves getting his head petted by pedestrians on the street (and with his good looks, it is bound to happen a lot). He ignores dogs who walk by him but will react to them if they bark at him. Seymour is mid-energy and the biggest cuddlebug around; he absolutely loves when you hug him and will oblige by putting his big head in your lap. He is very patient and calm, and content to sit with you and watch the world go by. He would be so great as a beach companion or just lying by your feet as you enjoy Sunday brunch with friends. Seymour hopes that you have no intention of sticking him in a crate, since our resident Houdini will skillfully make his way out of it and flash you his biggest grin. He will then hope to receive a treat for his cleverness! As a dominant dog, Seymour prefers the company of female dogs and needs to ensure that he is the leader of the four-legged pack. We put him with submissive females in his playgroup and he was very relaxed in meeting them, although he prefers to explore the yard alone.
